Starting with this foot forward was incredibly important to us. We didn’t want to make better retrospectively or gesture to favour further down the line.

Manufacturing in London draws on the unrivalled talent of the London Fashion and textile industry. This also keeps transport carbon low.
Our wool is expertly spun and woven in Yorkshire England, drawing on decades of experience in this brilliant natural textile.
Wool is warm and breathable, durable and crease resistant. A natural product that’s 100% biodegradable.
The wool sourced here is 100% Sheeps Wool, no added polyester acrylic or other synthetic fibres. No plastics please.
Our Tencel lining is sourced and printed by our neighbours in the Netherlands. The fabric is durable and yet silky soft with fluid drape. Tencel is a fabric woven from renewable wood sources on a closed loop system, which uses vastly less water than cotton and silk.
Our buttons are all made of Corozo ( including our pocket buttons and backers ). Widely known as Vegetable Ivory, Corozo is made from the Tugua tree nut. An incredibly strong natural product. We like to engrave ours.
Our cape cords are made from 100% Organic Cotton; Oeko-Tex1 certified. The engraved metal ends are made from recyclable Nickle.
Our cape boxes are made in Dorset; south west England. The papers and card used in the boxes and shipping outers are UK sourced and FSC certified materials. All recyclable and biodegradable. We use 100% compostable and biodegradable mailing bags.
Whenever possible, we always off-set our carbon on domestic and international deliveries through DHL’s carbon Neutral service.We use this for our on-order dispatch, and for our manufacturing shipments too.
